Since the participation of women in society has grown over the years, today’s women are encouraged to pitch in their ideas and allow their voices to be heard in the labor force and society as a whole. The Assistant Director stated that only a number of women are currently in the geodetic workforce and he welcomes and encourages their participation to achieve women representation in the field.

The Chairperson for Gender and Development, Ms. Maria Gina F. Pascua, narrated the importance of opportunities for women. There is a great need to continuously provide women with programs that support them in increasing access and control over resources. They must be given confidence in managing their resources such as land and security in land tenure.
