LMB BASKETBALL TEAM WINS BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP IN TEAM’S HISTORY
Defending the lands, they secured the title against the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) in a best-of-3 game which concluded on July 11, 2019.
The first game of the best-of-3 was won by LMB on July 4, 2019 and the second game was snatched by NAMRIA. Game 3 was a tight game which LMB team won with the score of 65-64.
LMB Director Atty. Emelyne V. Talabis, Assistant Director Engr. Romeo Verzosa and the whole LMB expressed pride of the team and were seen cheering during and after the win. The LMB players are: Jarold Japor, Jigo Santiago, Abraham Guilim, Rhyan Calungcagin, Ryan Balilo, Joseph Payoyo, Jeffrey Cepilo, Earl Joseph Maralit, Donald Mendizabal, Enielbert Estefanio, Marlon Joaban, Michael Ponce, Jonel Custodio, Alfred Seguncia, and Christopher Natalicio. The team’s coach is Mr. Regino Carreon.
