The Land Management Bureau – Gender and Development Focal Point System (LMB-GADFPS) welcomes the Fourth Partner LGU Barangay Upper Bicutan as they conducted the turn-over of GAD related activities for CY 2020 from North Signal Village to Upper Bicutan, Taguig City. This was participated by the Land Management Division (LMD) Chief, Engr. Rolando Pablo, selected LMB-GADFPS members together with the officials and staffs of both Barangays held last February 7, 2020 at the Barangay Hall, Upper Bicutan, Taguig City.
Engr. Rolando Pablo gave a welcome message and took the opportunity to express his deepest thanks on behalf of LMB to North Signal Village residents for the successful undertaking of the 2019 GAD related activities. Engr. Pablo mentioned that the LMB and Taguig had maintained a good relationship with each other and this leads to a fruitful collaboration with regard to the mainstreaming of GAD related activities for the past three (3) years. He ended his message with thanks and looking forward for a fruitful collaboration with Upper Bicutan.
Engr. Rolando Pablo and Ms. Maria Gina Pascua led the turn-over of GAD related activities for CY 2020 from North Signal Village to Upper Bicutan. Chairperson Jesus Pullente of North Signal Village was represented by Kagawad Joy Villar. She received a token of appreciation from LMB and gave her message of gratitude to LMB. Ms. Pascua also presented the success of 2019 GAD activities conducted in North Signal Village while Mr. Yves Balerio presented the GAD activities for CY 2020. As part of this activity the Chief of Patents and Deeds Section of LMB Engr. Shirley Fungo discussed the over-all results of the 2019 Census/Survey on the Impact of Land Titling to the Beneficiaries of Proclamation No. 172 conducted in North Signal Village.
Lastlty, taking one step forward as the new partner LGU, Barangay Upper Bicutan Chairperson Alexander Penolio gave a message showing his enthusiasm and excitement for the mainstreaming of GAD activities in his constituents for CY 2020. He ended the turn-over as he ended his message saying “Asahan nyo po ang aming buong suporta para sa mga activities at programs ng Gender and Development especially sa pagpapatitulo ng lupa para mapalakas at mapagtibay ang mga kababaihan at kabataan sa aming Barangay.”
