Considering today’s fast-paced environment dominated by technology and the latest innovations, work-life balance seems to be almost next to the impossible to achieve in this day and age, where the dividing line between work and life tends to overlap. Keeping this in mind, the Land Management Bureau (LMB), in partnership with pharmaceutical company SANOFI Inc. conducted a one-day health orientation and healthcare service last October 14, 2016 at the Director’s Conference Room. The event was sponsored by the LMB Senior Citizen (SC) and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Desk, and part of the Fourth Quarter Health, Fitness and Wellness Program

The SANOFI Inc. Medical Team is led by Mr. Lemuel Geralde, Dr. Maika Aiko Magbitang, and Nurse Arlo Roldan, assisting around 200 participants, involving 180 permanent and contractual employees, 15 Senior Citizens and five PWDs. Mr. Geralde, Key Account Specialist for SANOFI Inc., presented an orientation about the latest Quadrivalent Vaccine Type A and B Subviron. Influenza, commonly known by its shortened name ‘flu’ is a contagious disease that can induce fatigue, fever, cough, sore throat and headache. The best way to prevent influenza is through vaccination, and the Quadrivalent Flu Vaccine in particular is designed to combat four different kinds of flu viruses.
