LMB JOINS OPENING OF DENR SPORTSFEST

The Land Management Bureau (LMB) joins the opening ceremony of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Sportsfest last May 23, 2016 at the DENR Central Office.

During the opening of the sportsfest, Under Secretary Demetrio Ignacio cheered every participant to enjoy the sport events that will build physical health and strength.

For USEC Ignacio, anyone who joins sports is already a winner. He also encouraged utilizing sports as medium for environmental advocacy.

The different teams from different Bureau and attached agencies together with their gorgeous muses paraded in DENR grounds.

The major sports events are basketball, volleyball, badminton, bowling and dart. The basketball, volleyball and dart sports activities are held at the DENR open court, bowling is at the SM North Bowling Center.

DENR aims to develop and strengthen the sports ability of its employees and this event paved way to show off their skills and abilities in different sports.
