LMB YEAR-END CELEBRATION: KASIYAHAN, KASAGANAAN PARA SA KAPASKUHAN

The year-end celebration is a key professional opportunity to mingle casually with colleagues, bosses and get to know co-workers you don’t see everyday..

OIC, Assistant Director Engr. Henry P. Pacis welcomed everyone who joins celebrating the said event. He mentioned that the spirit of Christmas is something intangible and felt only with love and joy among the people around us. It’s the perfect time to toast the possibility of a better year in 2016 and give employees a bit of a boost.

As Land Management Bureau celebrated its Year-End Celebration last December 21, 2015 at the 7th Floor of the LMB Building, five lovely candidates from different divisions competed to be the Bb. Each presented their sportswear attire and showcased their talents. Mr. Jerbee Baggay serenaded the candidates on their formal wear. The judges of the pageant were all known for their beauty and wit namely, LMB’s Acting Director Atty. Emelyne V. Talabis, Ms. Irene Pacis, wife of Engr. Henry Pacis and Ms. Lillie Cruz, wife of Engr. Bienvenido Cruz, Chief, Geodetic Surveys Division. In between each presentation, varieties of games were played not only by the kids but also by the kids at heart in which camaraderie and enjoyment were visible and rousing. Ms. Ma. Luisa Cruz won the Best in Sportswear, Best in Talent and was crowned as the Bb. LMB 2015.

Atty. Emelyne V. Talabis, in her closing remarks, extends her gratitude to everyone who made the event possible and truly enjoyable even if given only a short time of preparation. She is overwhelmed to see all the employees as well as the kids having fun during the party. Atty. Talabis reminisced some of her Christmas moments in childhood and ended with a nugget of wisdom that we should never forget the true meaning of Christmas which is remembering Jesus Christ and spending time with our loved ones.

After the event, all had their joyful gatherings in their respective Divisions.
