The Land Management Bureau headed by Dir. Emelyne V. Talabis and GAD Chairperson Maria Gina F. Pascua received an award in recognition of a successful partnership and valuable support for the promotion and development of Gender Mainstreaming activities for FY 2022 to Barangay Lower Bicutan on December 15, 2022. Barangay Lower Bicutan is our 5th partner out of the 8 barangays covering Proclamation 172 or the Disposition of Lots in Taguig.

The said partnership started in 2017 with South Signal Village as the first pilot barangay. One of the major objectives of the LMB and LGU partnership aside from the mainstreaming our GAD related activities is to raise awareness on the Land Titling Program of LMB and its impact in empowering women and men in owning a land as a whole.  With the remaining 3 partnerships, LMB will continue to improve and strengthen all GAD-related activities in order to give women and men equal rights and participation in all Land Sector’s activities.
