LMB Conducts its “SaGAD Sa Sarap” Cooking Challenge as Part of the Women’s Month Celebration

Estuar & Associates Development & Management, Ms. Maria Ellaine Villacorta, and Land Administration Management (LAMS) National Coordinating Desk and Chief of Parcel Information & Management Section, Engr. Ariel F. Reyes, with the “SaGAD sa Sarap Cooking Challenge Champion from Land Policy and Planning Division (LPPD), Mr. Ronald Delos Reyes.
The Land Management Bureau Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System (FPS) led by its chairperson, Ms. Maria Gina F. Pascua, successfully organized and held the “SaGAD sa Sarap” Cooking Challenge on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at LMB Parking Space, as part of the 2023 Women’s Month celebration.
The cooking challenge was joined by the LMB employees, allowing one entry per division. The challengers were tasked to prepare a main dish using only the ingredients provided by the GAD-FPS team inside a mystery box. What brought more spice to the challenge are the main ingredient that remained a secret until the day of the competition, plus a mystery item that needs to be combined in any dish that they came up with.
Seven challengers competed to become the winner. Within the 90-minute duration, the challengers finished their dishes and prepared their presentations for the judges.
The panel of judges is composed of the LMB Director, Atty. Emelyne V. Talabis, LMB Assistant Director, Engr. Romeo P. Verzosa, the guest from F.R. Estuar & Associates Development & Management, Ms. Maria Ellaine Villacorta, and Land Administration Management (LAMS) National Coordinating Desk and Chief of Parcel Information & Management Section, Engr. Ariel F. Reyes.
In the end, Mr. Ronald Delos Reyes alias D’Cooker, who represented the Land Policy and Planning Division, was hailed the grand winner of the cooking challenge.
Closing the event, the LMB Director, Atty. Emelyne V. Talabis, expressed that she enjoyed the delectable event. She also gave her appreciation to the whole team behind the successful conduct of the cooking competition.
