CESB recognizes LMB’s Share-A-Meal, LMBGives
The Land Management Bureau (LMB) bagged recognition in the recently celebrated 50th anniversary of the Civil Executive Service Board (CESB) for its initiated Community Passion Projects.
The Share-A-Meal Project and the LMBGives Donation Drive were among the community passion projects that were implemented, highlighting two pillars of the Sustainable Development Goals: people and planet.
A plaque of recognition was presented to and accepted by the LMB Director, Atty. Emelyne Talabis, for championing the people’s welfare, introducing sustainability in achieving peace and prosperity and actively participating in support of the 50th Founding Anniversary of the CESB.
Director Talabis expressed her gratitude to the whole of the Bureau for the collective effort in the realization and success of the projects. “I thank the whole LMB for supporting these projects. You shared your blessings whole-heartedly from your own pockets, and without them, the success of these projects would not be possible.”
These projects were designed to combat food insecurity, help and give support to communities, and encourage LMB employees to contribute to society and promote fellowship and unity among community members.
Meanwhile, in his message, the Civil Service Commission and Career Executive Service Board Chairperson, Atty. Karlo Alexei B. Nograles encouraged everyone to develop a culture of optimism and positivity within the CES and even within their respective organization; and make every workplace a nesting ground for a dynamic civil service.
