LMB-GADFPS WELCOMES THE FIFTH PARTNER LGU BARANGAY LOWER BICUTAN IN TAGUIG FOR THE MAINSTREAMING OF GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT (GAD) RELATED ACTIVITIES FOR CY 2022
The Land Management Bureau – Gender and Development Focal Point System (LMB-GADFPS) conducts a turn-over of GAD-related activities for CY 2022 from Upper Bicutan to Lower Bicutan, Taguig City as the Fifth Partner LGU in Taguig. This was participated by the GAD Chairperson Ms. Maria Gina Pascua, GAD Coordinator Ms. Crizzel Timoteo, and Mr. Allan Macalalad together with the officials and staff of both Barangays held last February 8, 2022, at the Barangay Hall, Lower Bicutan, Taguig City.
Ms. Maria Gina Pascua, LMB GAD-FPS, GAD Coordinator and Mr. Allan Macalalad led the turn-over of GAD related activities from Brgy. Upper Bicutan to Lower Bicutan.
Brgy. Chairperson Alexander Penolio of Brgy. Upper Bicutan was represented by Brgy. Secretary Nemia Boco, she received a token of appreciation from LMB and expressed her gratitude and deepest appreciation for the fruitful partnership for two consecutive years (CY 2020-2021).
32nd National Statistics Month Webinar Series
The Land Management Bureau participated in the 32nd National Statistics Month Webinar Series of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) last October 11, 2021 with the theme “Revving Up for Economic & Social Recovery Through Evidence-Based Policies”.
Engr. Henry Pacis, the Chief of the Land Policy & Planning Division discussed the Patent Issuance in the Philippines and the importance of completing the land activities in the country as the ownership of land promotes tenure and livelihood to the Filipino people in this time of pandemic and as the nation’s economy press towards recovery.
On the other hand, the Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau (ERDB) & the Forest Management Bureau (FMB) had discussion on “Tourism Carrying Capacity of the Beach Nourishment Project Site of Manila” and “Mechanized & Modernized Forest Nurseries (MMFN) during the COVID-19 Pandemic”, respectively.
LMB bags FOI Service Experience Award
As part of the celebration of the International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUA), the Land Management Bureau bagged FOI Service Award as conferred by Freedom of Information Philippines on September 28, 2021.
The FOI Service Experience Award is a customer-centric recognition based on feedbacks, comments, and assessment of the requesting parties on how agencies engaged customers and how they processed FOI requests. The LMB Director, Atty. Emelyne V. Talabis expressed her gratitude to the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) for recognizing the bureau’s efforts in ensuring that better services are delivered to its clients.

The Land Management Bureau (LMB), spearheaded by the DENREU-LMB Chapter and in coordination with LMB Innovation and Editorial Board, conducted a donation drive last October 1, 2020 at Quezon City General Hospital (QCGH). The DENRU-LMB officials distributed 200 pieces of packed lunch for QCGH medical frontliners as part of the Bureau’s celebration of its 119th Founding Anniversary.
