A CELEBRATION OF COMMITMENT AND COMPASSION: LMB CHRISTMAS PARTY 2016

In celebration of Christmas, the season of joy and thanksgiving, the Land Management Bureau (LMB) conducted its annual LMB Year-End Employees General Assembly last December 21, 2016, at the Eurotel, North EDSA, Quezon City with the theme “Caring Enough to Act and Doing it Together with Joy”.

LMB Acting Director Atty. Emelyne V. Talabis and OIC-Assistant Director Engr. Henry P. Pacis conveyed their Christmas greetings and messages to employees, and acted as judges to Let’s Duet and the Christmas Décor Competition.

Acting Director Atty. Emelyne V. Talabis looked back to the milestones and challenges encountered by the Bureau for the past months. The year 2016 is fraught with major changes, with the election of a new set of national and local officials, and government executives. She stated that the Land Sector is continuously beset with various issues and the Bureau must aspire to meet and strive beyond expectations, especially with the Land Sector included in the President’s 10-point Socio-economic Agenda. For 2017, she believes that the Bureau should play a major role in the Government’s initiative to address bottlenecks in land titling as our contribution to this Agenda. Thus, she called on the LMB officials and employees to strive and perform well in the coming year. Likewise, she expressed gratitude to all for making 2016 a successful year for LMB.

OIC-Assistant Director Engr. Henry P. Pacis emphasized the moments in the workplace, where sacrifices were made, the overtime without pay, the stress, and the rush in complying with instructions. All these make Christmas more meaningful, we even celebrate with the family, and enjoy the blessings given to each and every one.
