LMB beauty finishes first runner- up in Lakambining Inhinyera 2019

An LMB beauty won first runner-up in the Lakambning Inhinyera 2019 competition held in Royce Hotel, Clark, Pampanga, August 23, 2019.

Engr. Genalyn Verbo, also won five awards, three of which are major awards – Best in Evening Gown, Best in Sports Wear, Best in Corporate Attire; and two special awards – Ms. Potencee and Ms. Everbilena.

Verbo, a geodetic engineer, who represented the Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. competed against eight other engineers representing their Engineering Professional Organizations – Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Institute of Electronic Engineers of the Philippines, Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers, Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers, Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers, and Society of Metallurgical Engineers of the Philippines.

Lakambining Inhenyera, organized by the Women Engineers Network of the Philipine Technological Council, is a fund-raising activity and personality development quest for professional women engineers. The title of Lakambining Inhenyera was based on 50% from the pot money and 50% over-all pageant performance.

Engr.Angelika Ongkingko, a civil engineer, was crowned Lakambining Inhinyera 2019.
