LMB enhances its social media strategy and guidelines

In an effort to strengthen its communication and outreach, the Land Management Bureau (LMB) conducted a strategic planning workshop focused on improving its social media management. As the agency responsible for leading land policies and innovative land administration approaches, the LMB acknowledges the vital role that effective digital communication plays in engaging stakeholders and fostering transparency.

The workshop series encompassed three essential sessions: Social Media Assessment and Analysis, Social Media Strategy Development and Content Creation, and Social Media Security and Guidelines Development. These sessions were specifically designed to evaluate current practices, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and create tailored strategies that align with the LMB’s unique objectives.

By the end of the workshop series, the LMB targeted to achieve several key outcomes. These include a comprehensive understanding of its current social media presence, identification of improvement areas, and the formulation of a solid social media strategy that aligns with the bureau’s goals. Additionally, the workshops aim to enhance staff skills in effective social media management, establish guidelines for consistent and professional engagement, and develop protocols for responding to public inquiries. Ultimately, these efforts aim to increase stakeholder engagement and transparency through leveraging the power of social media to better serve the public and fulfill its mandate in the digital age.
