LMB GADFPS Welcomes the Sixth Partner LGU Barangay Central Bicutan in Taguig City for the Mainstreaming of Gender and Development (GAD) Related for CY 2023

The Land Management Bureau – Gender and Development Focal Point System (LMB-GADFPS) conducts a turn-over of GAD-related activities for CY 2023 from  Lower Bicutan to Central Bicutan, Taguig City as the Sixth Partner LGU in Taguig. This was participated by the GAD Chairperson Ms. Maria Gina Pascua, GAD  Coordinator Ms. Crizzel Timoteo, Engr. Jewel Templonuevo and Mr. Allan Macalalad together with the officials and staff of both Barangays held last January 16,  2023, at the Barangay Hall, Central Bicutan, Taguig City.

Ms. Maria Gina Pascua and LMB-GADFPS members led the turn-over activity from Brgy. Lower Bicutan to Central Bicutan.

Ms. Pascua discussed the important roles and functions of Brgy. Central Bicutan in the mainstreaming effort of LMB-GAD on related activities of LMB GADFPS that will be reflected in the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to be signed by Brgy. Chairperson Jennifer Alit and Director Emelyne V. Talabis.

The activities to be conducted for the whole year was also discussed such as Orientation on Proclamation No. 172, Women’s Month Celebration, Census Survey Activity, etc.

Brgy. Chairperson Roel O. Pacayra of Brgy. Lower Bicutan was represented by Brgy. Secretary Gemma Laarni C.Baylon, she received a token of appreciation from LMB for the successful undertaking of the 2022 GAD related activities. She expressed her gratitude and deepest appreciation for the fruitful collaboration with regard to the mainstreaming of GAD related activities in the past year.

Lastly, taking one step forward as the new partner LGU, on behalf of Barangay Chairperson Jennifer Alit, Barangay Secretary Derlie Dolor gave a message showing her enthusiasm and unwavering support to the plans and programs of the GAD for CY 2023.
