LMB Kick Off the 2023 National Women’s Month Celebration
The Land Management Bureau kickstarted its celebration on Women’s Month with the theme, WE for Gender Equality, Inclusive, & Resilient Society #WEcanbeEquALL. A formal ceremony, led by the LMB- Gender and Development Focal Point System (LMB-GADFPS) was held in Estuar Building, Quezon City attended by the LMB Executive Committee and its employees, as well as guests from the LMB’s newest partner Local Government Unit in mainstreaming GAD activities – Brgy. Central Bicutan headed by Brgy. Chairperson, Jenifer Alit.
In his message, Assistant Director Romeo P. Verzosa emphasized that the month of March is not the only time to recognize the roles and efforts of every woman, but the role of everyone in the pursuit of gender equality and inclusivity.”
He also called its employees to continue strengthening its commitment towards LMB’s advocacy in promoting inclusivity and equal rights, particularly in one of the land’s sectors major programs which is the land titling.
The LMB also launched its “Tindahan ni Juana at Juan”, a food park which will operationalize for four days in the first week of March. This activity encourages its employees to put up and sell merchandise, such as food, drinks, and any goods.
Initiated by the LMB-GADFPS chaired by Ms. Maria Gina Pascua, a number of activities are also lined up for the whole month of March in celebration of this year’s #WomensMonth.
