LMB Successfully Organized the “Fundamentals in Writing Minutes” Training

The Land Management Bureau (LMB) gathered every minutes-taker from each division to the Fundamentals in Writing Minutes Training held at the Brentwood Suites, Quezon City last March 2-3, 2023. LMB invited Ms. Maria Kristina V. Pimentel, a National Knowledge and Communication Specialist of Land & Governance Innovations Consultants, Inc (LGI) PROGREEN, as its resource speaker to provide its attendees with the appropriate minute-taking skills.

The training formally began with the LMB Assistant Director, Engr. Romeo P. Versoza’s opening message. He acknowledged Ms. Tina as the resource speaker and welcomed all attendees. He has also mentioned that “Minutes of the meeting are beneficial [as it] forms part of the historical and factual data of an organization,” encouraging the attendees to maximize the 2-day training session.

The participants and the Resource Speaker maximized the training experience through shared meaningful information, enjoyment, and fruitful collaborative discussions. They also engaged in a productive presentation and critiquing session after an activity. The participants learned from one another as constructive criticisms were expressed along with a professional take from the Resource Speaker.

The Head of Administrative Support Staff and Land Management Division (LMD) OIC Chief, Mr. Alex C. Pascua, gave his closing message where he shared additional suggestions to tap minutes-takers from different divisions as alternate secretaries, gave commendations, mentioned further training for LMB employees on this matter, and thanked Ms. Tina Pimentel for being a brilliant resource speaker. He also acknowledged the evident enjoyment and learning of the participants.
