Talabis says working together impacts positive change
On September 07, 2023, the Land Management Bureau (LMB) Director, Atty. Emelyne Talabis commended the collaborative effort of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Bicol, local government officials, and the dedicated teams in the field offices in the recently held Handog Titulo Program awarding ceremony in Mercedes, Camarines Norte.
The Handog Titulo Program continues its aspiration of giving land titles to the landless in Region 5 where 41 residents received their land titles.
“Together, we are making a positive change in the lives of our beneficiaries, and for that, we can all be proud. It’s a testament to what we can achieve when we work together towards a common goal,” Director Talabis said during her message.
LMB Director, Atty. Emelyne Talabis joined the key officials from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources DENR Bicol headed by Regional Executive Director (RED) Francisco E. Milla Jr., CESO III, Assistant Regional Director (ARD) for Technical Services (TS) Atty. Ronnel C. Sopsop, and Camarines Norte Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) OIC, PENR Officer Nestor Franz A. Fortuno, along with Camarines Norte Governor Ricarte R. Padilla, Mercedes Mayor Alexander L. Pajarillo who led the program and the distribution of land titles.
